Before you book
Which areas do you cover?
SIC Security is based in Brackenfell, Cape Town. We take assignments in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, and elsewhere in South Africa by arrangement.
Are your officers registered?
Yes. SIC Security operates under PSIRA registration 2649830 and assignments are carried out by PSIRA-registered officers.
Can you send officers at short notice?
Sometimes, but we do not promise it. Officers and vehicles are allocated to confirmed bookings, subject to availability and confirmation, so the earlier you book the better. Short-notice requests are considered case by case.
How much does close protection cost?
We do not publish prices because every assignment is different. Send an outline and we will quote in writing in South African rand. A dedicated shift reserves its officers for you for the hours booked.
How are Close Protection Officer shifts charged?
Our Close Protection Officers are generally booked for 12-hour shifts. Once a shift is confirmed, the assigned officer is reserved exclusively for the client. The agreed full shift fee remains payable even if the client uses fewer than 12 hours or finishes earlier. Any time beyond the confirmed shift is charged at the overtime rate specified in the quotation. Personnel and associated vehicles are allocated subject to advance booking, availability and the agreed payment arrangements.
What happens when I send the enquiry form?
The form emails your enquiry to our office and shows a reference number once our mail server has accepted it. If it cannot be sent, the page says so and offers WhatsApp, a call or email instead. We reply during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, in the way you choose.
